Second Gift

Sickness has hit our home and so I've been a bit behind in posting my Second Gift. But have any of you read this chlildren's book? It is a gift. And even more so if you have experienced a really "hard thing."

It artistically shares the story behind Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day." If any of you are not familiar with it, it is poignant, real and inspiring. There is heartache, there is struggle and there is triumph. A PERFECT Christmas read.

So, the winner of this week's gift will receive a copy of our new favorite Christmas tale autographed by our little family.

The giveaway ends Monday at midnight. To be eligible, leave a comment and a name will be randomly drawn by one of the my babes.

Good luck! And Merry Christmas.

  13. Always loved the hymn - it covers so many emotions even despair and yet the triumphant message of the Atonement is key to peace on earth and goodwill to men. What a great find that resonates with you personally.
