Sickness has hit our home and so I've been a bit behind in posting my Second Gift. But have any of you read this chlildren's book? It is a gift. And even more so if you have experienced a really "hard thing."
It artistically shares the story behind Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day." If any of you are not familiar with it, it is poignant, real and inspiring. There is heartache, there is struggle and there is triumph. A PERFECT Christmas read.
So, the winner of this week's gift will receive a copy of our new favorite Christmas tale autographed by our little family.
The giveaway ends Monday at midnight. To be eligible, leave a comment and a name will be randomly drawn by one of the my babes.
Good luck! And Merry Christmas.
That looks like such a neat book! What a fun giveaway!

ReplyDeleteI've been a closet reader long enough. I cherish each of your posts and really appreciated your first gift. I was sad that I just barely missed this treasure the last time you posted it. You have a beautiful family and I have been touched so many times with your love and wisdom.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this book. I haven't seen this one. It looks so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI would love to have the book and something to remember "that amazing mom, and her angel, whose blog I read" by.
ReplyDeleteI have never read this one. I'm sure it would be a great addition to our collection of Christmas books! We try to collect a few new ones every year. Then we pull out our collection of Christmas books each Christmas season and put them in the book basket.
