This time last year, Bennett couldn't get enough of the little red wagon.
This time last year, Bennett went from one pumpkin pile to another, trying to find the pumpkin seat that was just the "right fit."

This afternoon, I'll be taking three kiddos to the Cousins Pumpkin Picking.
This afternoon, I think I'll feel a little melancholy as I pull around the little red wagon.
And this afternoon, I think I'll be looking around the Pumpkin Patch for that little blond boy that so loved being part of the Fall Festivities with his siblings, cousins, aunts and Grammie Lu.
You are in my Heart today, My Boy. Your Mommy loves you.
To the Moon and back. xoxoxoxo
Today I am feeling your pain. I was just looking through the pictures of our adventure last year at the pumpkin patch with both my girls and the thought of going with just one this year breaks my heart. Praying for you and yours today. It is going to get better, Right?!
ReplyDeletelove you so much sis...we've been so excited for today, but I know your heart is going to be extra tender... Your sweet little Bennett boy will be dearly missed! What adorable, precious photo you captured from our pumpkin picking last year! <3
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful boy, Mandy! My heart aches every time I see photos of him, but a smile crosses my lips at the same time. His angel face just makes me smile. He reminds me so much of my little Lucas that I feel some little connection with your blond-haired, blue-eyed boy. My thoughts are with you and I hope you and your family were able to enjoy your pumpkin picking. This is my favorite time of year and I so look forward to the pumpkin patch every year. xoxo
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the wagon post below, as well. I'd never heard that story and it is such a good one. Thank you for sharing. You never cease to inspire and amaze me. Hugs from afar!
