Who am I? I am a Woman who has experienced heartache and loss (see here for story) and is trying to find Joy and Purpose amid the Pain. Indeed, I am in search of Sunshine.

I love a good hearty laugh, artistic and satisfying food, music that makes me dance, a fabulous pair of shoes, walking hand in hand with my sweetheart, a fresh coat of nail polish, cuddling with my babes, writing from the heart, audio books, all-things accessories, movies with popcorn on rainy days, Diet Pepsi (with crushed ice and 2 wedges of lemon, please) and feeling the sand between my toes on the beach. I believe that"Faith is not something you demonstrate to GET what you want. Faith is what you demonstrate no matter WHAT you get. No matter how hard, no matter how long."  (Ardeth Kapp)

Who is David? David is - quite possibly - the most amazing father and Sweetheart on the face of the earth. He loves reading, teaching, mentoring teenage boys, Baseball (he both played and coached on the university level), a round (or two) of golf with a good friend, playing troll on the big toy with his kiddos, movie nights with his Honey (lucky me!), studying the word of God, being in the outdoors with those he loves and engaging in random acts of service.

Though we would have never chosen this path, it is comforting to know that the Man I chose to be my Sweetheart and Partner years ago made Bennett's short experience on this Earth the best possible. He is my strength, inspiration, shoulder to cry on, partner in crime and biggest fan. The world is a better place for his life and influence.
